Together, we joined twelve youth from different parts of Northeast Florida and South Georgia who suffer from a variety of illnesses to serve on the “Dream Team”. The goal is to give these children and their families hope and fun experiences involving sports as they fight their medical battles.
Throughout the college football season, each of our dreamers will be highlighted individually on social media and our website. The group will also be taken on a ‘scouting trip’ with their families for a fun-filled day of college football. At the conclusion of the college football regular season, the Dream Team will graduate from their Dream Team jerseys to TaxSlayer Gator Bowl green jackets officially making them honorary Dream Team members of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl committee. Their game week Dream Team experience will include a meet and greet with participating team players and cheerleaders in the Dream Room at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and conclude with being honored during the 73rd annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on New Year’s Eve 2018.
10/16 – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team Member Payton and VP of Marketing Katie Cox, join Helmet and Heels to talk about the Cole Swindell announcement and Payton recaps her experience interviewing Cole. (00:14:45)
