Media credentials for the 2016 Navy-Notre Dame Game are issued for working media only. Media agencies credentialed throughout the year at both universities receive priority status. Subject to limitations, the remainder of the requests will be honored in priority order from sports editors of DAILY newspapers and television sports directors in the local/national media followed by weekly publications and radio stations attending the game in a working capacity.
Due to limited space and to ensure compliance with NCAA guidelines, no credentials will be issued to either “free-lance” writers or photographers without a specific assignment received in writing by the assigning organization.
Requesting media credentials will be done online using the Sports Systems Online Credentialing website.
Please do not apply for credentials unless you are certain you will be covering the event. Space is limited and credentials will be granted on the priority basis as listed above.
Press Box passes are good only for a reserved seat in the Press Box. It will not permit you access to any other part of the stadium, except at the end of the game when you will be allowed on field access and the interview room adjacent to the team locker room.
Photo credentials will be issued only to accredited photographers and videographers on assignment for a recognized news organization or sports publication or authorized by JAXSPORTS. No freelance photographers will be granted credentials. Photo credentials grant access to the Press Box. Under NCAA rules, photographers/videographers are not allowed between the 25-yard lines and must remain outside the restraining lines surrounding the playing field. All field photographers and videographers must obtain a photo armband on game day which will allow access to pre-approved shooting lanes.
EVERBANK FIELD DOES NOT HAVE A PHOTO DECK
No online service will be allowed “real time” transmission of the 2016 Navy-Notre Dame Game. Only contractual rights-fee paying media will be allowed “real time” transmission during the event. “Real Time” is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Other than the official website of CBS, JAXSPORTS and each participating institution, representatives staffing web sites shall be accredited for credentials to the Navy-Notre Dame Game on the following guidelines:
One credential may be assigned to a website that is affiliated with a national media of another form (i.e., network, newspaper, etc.). No credentials will be granted for internet-only outlets, unless they are affiliated with a regional or national news-gathering organization.
Approved media requests made by noon on October 19 will be mailed by standard U.S. mail. Requests made after that time or if an agency would like to receive game day credentials via FedEx or UPS must provide a billing number. Game day credentials can also be picked up at the JAXSPORTS office located adjacent to the East Touchdown Club at EverBank Field (enter Lot C) beginning Tuesday, November 1 – Friday, November 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Game credentials not picked up or mailed out will be available Game Day on November 5 at Media Will Call, EverBank Field, Gate 1 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Game day credentials not picked up or mailed out can be obtained at Media Will Call, EverBank Field, Gate 1 beginning at 7:30 a.m. on game day, November 5. Media will be subject to bag checks prior to entry to the stadium.
Limited parking passes are available and should be requested at the time of their media credential request.
Game day parking passes will be mailed with approved credentials beginning October 1. Otherwise they can be picked up with game day credentials at the JAXSPORTS office November 1 – November 4. To receive via Federal Express or UPS, a billing number must be provided at the time credential request is made.
To ensure a professional working environment, no children, spouses or other non-working personnel will be permitted in the press box or on the field.
Seats will be assigned…check the press seating chart upon arrival in the press box.
There are no permanent phone lines in the Press Box. To order a phone line you must call Jason Morrill, Telecommunications Adm. at 904-633-6125. There are 5 pool phones available in the press box for general media use at no charge.
Wireless is available in the Press Box and in the Photo/editing areas
Members of the media will receive an Official Game Program and flip-card.
Live stats will be available via StatBroadcast. A play-by-play information sheet will be distributed after each quarter. At halftime, game statistics will be available. Following the game, complete statistics, team, individual and scoring summary will be available in the press box.

Media credentialed for the Press Box will be permitted to go to field level with approximately 5 minutes left in the game. Each university will set its own policies regarding postgame, locker room interviews. Player interview area will be located outside locker rooms. Contact both Sports Information Directors to determine their respective policies.
