Class of 2024 Nominations

Gator Bowl Sports Membership has existed as a body of Jacksonville’s strongest advocates for over 50 years. Now a group of 200+ men and women who are passionate about sports and the Northeast Florida community, Gator Bowl Sports members continue to push forward the mission of our organization – to enhance and positively impact the quality of life and community pride, along with generating economic impact and growth for Northeast Florida through sports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Committee Membership Fee – $500
  • This fee does not count towards your Committee Fundraising Minimum and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Payment is due in full by August 1, 2024.
    • Please Note: Members who have served for seven consecutive years will have their fee waived.

• Committee Fundraising Minimum – $3,000
  • TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Committee members are required to meet their Committee Fundraising Minimum of $3,000. TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Committee members must reach their minimum fundraising by March 31, 2025 to remain on the committee.
    • Please Note:    1) In-kind services and corporate sponsorship must be approved by Gator Bowl Sports prior to solicitation and services rendered.  2) No transfer of fundraising credit is allowed.

• Committee Ticket Purchase Minimum
  • TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Committee members must purchase a minimum of two (2) TaxSlayer Gator Bowl tickets prior to August 1st.
    • Please Note: Ticket purchase must be equal or greater to the value of two (2) lower bowl sideline tickets and WILL count towards your Committee Fundraising.

• Volunteering Requirement
  • TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Committee members must volunteer for a minimum of one (1) volunteer position at a TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Event prior to January 2, 2025.
• Membership Agreement Form
  • The below Membership Agreement form must be completed no later than August 1, 2024 in order to participate in the 2024-2025 membership year.

• Scouting 
  • TaxSlayer Gator Bowl members that serve as an official bowl scout for a game throughout the year must complete the Scouting Contract prior to receiving credential for the game. *Subject to University Policies & Procedures regarding 2024 Scouting

• All current TaxSlayer Gator Bowl members (after their first year of service) are eligible to nominate individuals for membership
• Nominators must fill out the below Nomination Form no later than March 1, 2024
• Nominees will receive a Formal Application which must be submitted by April 1, 2024 to be considered for the Class of 2024.
• Formal Applications will be submitted to TaxSlayer Gator Bowl President/CEO and Board Chair for review and final selection
• Nominees will be notified of their Class of 2024 status prior to April 8, 2024
