GATOR BOWL SPORTS ANNOUNCES
ANDY KING AS 2024-25 CHAIRMAN

Jacksonville, Fla.  The Gator Bowl Sports Board of Trustees recently elected its 2024-25 volunteer leadership during its March quarterly meeting.

Last night at an event for Gator Bowl Sports Members, Andy King was announced as Chairman for the 2024-25 season.  King currently serves as Vice President at GFL (Green For Life).   He and his family relocated to Jacksonville in 2006 through Andy’s role with Republic Services and since that time, Chairman King’s career trajectory took him from that role at Republic Services of Florida to CEO of All American Waste and his current role as Vice President at GFL Environmental, a diversified environmental services company.

Chairman King joins the impressive ranks of the Gator Bowl Board of Trustees after serving in a variety of volunteer roles with Gator Bowl Sports since 2008.   Through his tenure with Gator Bowl Sports, King has served as Vice Chairman of game & team operations as well as hospitality.

In addition to his service with Gator Bowl Sports, Andy King has also served for numerous years on the Chamber Board of Directors, THE PLAYERS Council, Cathedral Arts Project and the Tony Boselli Foundation.   King is a Leadership Jacksonville alumni and he, alongside his wife Jesica, are very actively involved and give back at the Providence School.  One of Chairman King’s proudest accomplishments is being dad to Grace, John, Mary-Kate and Andrew.

Chairman King alongside the Board of Trustees is working to finalize the full list of volunteer appoints for the upcoming year.   That volunteer leadership team is joined by a group of members more than 250 strong that represent business leaders across Florida’s First Coast.
