GATOR BOWL SPORTS ANNOUNCES ALL GATOR BOWL TEAM
IN HONOR OF ITS’ 75TH GAME
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., September 10, 2019 — The Gator Bowl Sports Board of Trustees and Board Chairman Rich Thompson announced today the roster of the All Gator Bowl Team presented by the Employees of WW Gay, an honorary team in celebration of the 75th annual Gator Bowl game. The team represents some of the best performances throughout the 74 year history of the Gator Bowl game.
“As we began to discuss plans for celebration of the 75th Gator Bowl game, it was important to our planning committee to pay tribute to the iconic players who have filled our game with rich tradition and history,” said Gator Bowl Sports Chairman Rich Thompson.
Members of the All Gator Bowl team were selected based on their performance by position in their respective Gator Bowl game and were voted on by members of the local media. The former players represent iconic athletes who have had tremendous athletic careers.

TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL
The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will be played on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, FL and will be nationally televised on ESPN. The 75th annual game will feature a team from the Southeastern Conference versus a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big Ten Conference, or Notre Dame.
