TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL ANNOUNCES SPECIAL PRICING
AND PLANS FOR 75th GAME CELEBRATION
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., November 19, 2019 — With just over three weeks until teams
are announced and a mere six weeks until kickoff, the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl shared
special pricing and plans to celebrate its’ 75th game.
The 75th playing of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl game is scheduled on Thursday,
January 2, 2020 at 7:00 pm. This year’s game will pay special tribute to iconic
players and coaches that make up the rich history and tradition of the game. A
campaign that will launch next week will tell stories of community members, volunteers,
and youth who have been involved with the game over the past 75 years.
The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl game and events have been a Jacksonville tradition since
1946 and a viable key to its success has been the support of the local community. As a
thank you to fans, the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl has released a special ticket offer, named
the 75th Game Special Offer which will include four (4) game tickets, a parking pass, and
a game program for $75. That package is now available for purchase at

In addition to the special ticket offer, the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl committee has planned
a week full of activities to entertain the local community and visiting team fans to help
us celebrate this iconic game.

This year’s TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will feature a team from the Southeastern Conference
that will serve as the anchor team and will face an opponent from the Big Ten
Conference or the Atlantic Coast Conference, which also includes the University of Notre
Dame. Teams will be selected on Sunday, December 8, 2019.
