Most Valuable Teacher Initiative

In 2021, the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl partnered with FIS and the College Football Playoff Foundation to
honor the best playmakers of the classroom across Duval County.

In support and celebration of local teachers, we gave away $1,000 each week throughout
college football season to deserving, local teachers — our MVT’s (Most Valuable Teacher’s)!

In addition to the $1,000, all teachers recognized throughout the fall were invited to attend the
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl as our guests and be honored on-field during the game!
