TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL AND DREAMS COME TRUE

ANNOUNCE THE 2019 DREAM TEAM

 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug.6, 2019 — The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl and Dreams Come True signed twelve dreamers to the 2019 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team today.  The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team will provide a unique experience for the twelve dreamers who are participants of Dreams Come True.

The dreamers will serve as representatives and ambassadors for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl through their participation on the Dream Team.   Throughout the college football season, the Dream Team will have the opportunity to scout the Florida State-Boise State game and a game at the University of Florida, participate with local corporate executives at monthly TaxSlayer Gator Bowl meetings, and distribute their rookie year player cards throughout Jacksonville.

At the conclusion of the college football regular season, the Dream Team will graduate from their Dream Team jerseys to TaxSlayer Gator Bowl green jackets officially making them honorary Dream Team members of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl committee.  Their Dream Team experience will include a meet and greet with participating team players and cheerleaders at TIAA Bank Field in late December and conclude with being honored on-field during the 75th annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on January 2, 2020.

The 2019 Dream Team is made up of: Joey Cotromano (age 11); Amelia Cregg (age 6); Aydan Dolan (age 6); Jordan Elliott (age 11); Keyden Hall-Adams (age 13); Anna Hopson (age 5); Savannah Lahtinen (age 8); Camden Lang (age 15); Joshua Ribeiro (age 12); Allen Roberson (age 17); Logan Silva (age 9); and Francoise Thornton (age 8).

About TaxSlayer Gator Bowl

The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is a 74 year old Jacksonville tradition.  The 75th installment of this iconic event will be held on Thursday, January 2nd at 7:00 pm on Bill Gay Grounds at TIAA Bank Field.  The match-up will feature a participant from the Southeastern Conference paired against an opponent from either the Big Ten Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference or Notre Dame.
